WINTER PARK, Fla. (November 8, 2024) – The Rollins women's swimming team blew past Ave Maria on Friday, defeating the Gyrenes by a score of 190-45. The Tars won all 13 events that were contested at the meet.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The team of Madison Patel, Taiylor Tegler, Sarah Brown, and Amelia Kondal won the 200-yard medley relay in 1:46.37 to open the day.
- Elliot Fox took first in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:59.36 to win the first individual event.
- Patel picked up a win in the 100-yard backstroke in 57.98, and Tegler followed that with a winning time of 1:05.36 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Elizabeth Sander won the 200-yard butterfly (2:11.21) and Brown grabbed first place in the 50-yard freestyle (25.09).
- Brown got her second straight win with a 54.49 in the 100-yard freestyle, and Avery Bannerton picked up a victory in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:11.47.
- Brooke Postell touched the wall first in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:31.04, while Fox placed first in the 500-yard freestyle (5:17.75).
- Kondal earned the win with a 59.68 in the 100-yard butterfly, and Patel captured the final individual event with a 2:11.19 in the 200-yard individual medley.
- The quartet of Kondal, Sander, Lydia Bohannon, and Brown capped the day with a winning time of a 1:40.70 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Tars will return to action at the River Invitational, a midseason meet hosted by Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, which will take place November 21-23.
