WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 26, 2024) – The Rollins women's swim team held its home opener on Saturday, with Florida Tech leaving the Alfond Pool with a 160-101 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blue and Gold opened the meet with a second-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, as Madison Patel, Taiylor Tegler, Sarah Brown, and Amelia Kondal clocked a time of 3:57.32.
- Janie Inscore won the first individual event of the day, the 1000-yard freestyle, in 10:57.82, with Tegler grabbing the second event win for the Tars with a first-place time of 1:06.33 in the 100-yard breaststroke.
- Brown captured first place with a 2:12.76 in the 200-yard butterfly, and Tegler earned her second win of the day with a 2:25.93 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Rollins wrapped up the event with a third-place finish in the 400-yard freestyle relay as Kondal, Dylan Beeson, Brown, and Patel posted a time of 3:42.69.
