WINTER PARK, Fla. (January 5, 2024) – The Rollins women's swimming team opened 2024 with a split result on Friday, defeating NAIA No. 18 Arizona Christian (183-56) and narrowly falling to No. 17 Oklahoma Christian (126-125) in a tri-meet at the Alfond Pool.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The team of Alonna Clark, Abigayle Wood, Lauren Diehl, and Amelia Kondal opened the meet with a second-place time of 1:51.66 in the 200-yard medley relay.
- Elliot Fox was the top female finisher in the mixed 1650-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 18:48.44.
- Clark posted a second-place result in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:01.05.
- Danielle Boland came home third in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:03.58.
- Wood grabbed first place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:06.91.
- Diehl made it back-to-back wins for the Tars with a first-place time of 2:12.62 in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Kondal took second in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a time of 25.62.
- Following the break, Kondal came back to grab another runner-up finish, clocking a 55.54 in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Mackenzie Adams placed second win in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 2:15.50.
- Brooke Postell took third in the 200-yard breaststroke, recording a time of 2:32.27.
- Clark got her second individual runner-up finish of the day with a 5:23.06 in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Elizabeth Sander registered the fifth win of the day for the Tars, clocking a 1:00.96 in the 100-yard butterfly.
- Wood added the sixth win with a 2:13.87 in the 200-yard individual medley.
- Kondal, Boland, Diehl, and Wood capped the event with a second-place time of 1:42.62 in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
