Match Abandoned Due to Weather

Rollins and Queens were unable to finish on Friday

WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 14, 2023) - Lightning and rainfall in the area forced Rollins and Queens to abandon their match on Friday, leading to a no contest between the two ranked teams.

After battling through a pair of lightning delays, Rollins would have won the doubles point. After Queens took court three, the Tars captured both one and two. Efe Comu/Luke Quaynor won 6-4 and Guillermo Castaneda/Mikkel Baumann owned court two, 6-3.

In singles play, Rollins was leading in four of the six matches, putting them in good position to take home victory.

The Tars will now look ahead to Sunday when they host the #1 Saint Leo Lions (again). The two teams tried to play on Wednesday, but were rained out. The scoring will start from scratch. First serve is scheduled for 12:00 pm.
