Stoiberer Adds Academic All-American Status

Captain Richard Stoiberer notches another honor Wednesday when he became an Academic All-American

GREENWOOD, IN. (June 3, 2026) – The 2025-26 Academic All-America® Men's Tennis Teams were announced Wednesday by the College Sports Communicators. Rollins senior captain Richard Stoiberer added to his illustrious career, landing a spot on the second team.
 
Stoiberer was a mainstay for the Tars throughout his career in Winter Park. The definition of steady, the Salzburg, Austria native was a four-time ITA scholar, two-time ITA Doubles All-American, and now adds to his total as an Academic All-American as voted on by the CSC.
 
Stoiberer was joined by all his teammates when it came to achieving high marks both on the court and in the classroom. The team not only finished #4 overall in the national poll but also completed the Spring semester with a 3.94 team GPA. Stoiberer, alongside teammates Nico de Giacomo, Mo Anterist and Pietro Cappellaro, finished the term with a 4.0.
