WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 18, 2023) – The Rollins sailing team hosted the Bud Morrow Cup on Saturday, earning a fourth-place result in the competition. The Tars picked up three victories and nine top-five finishes during the day's races.
Rollins got off to a strong start, with the "A" boat winning the first race and the "B" boat placing third. The Tars "A" boat added a win in race four and a runner-up finish in race five. After a DNS dropped Rollins in the standings, the Tars' "A" boat battled back to win the ninth and final race of the day.
Jacksonville fielded two separate teams in the event, taking first (77 points) and second (94 points) overall, with Eckerd placing third with 102 points. Rollins took fourth with 112 points after the "A" boat scored 57 points and the "B" boat totaled 55 points.

The Tars will head to Jacksonville next weekend for a pair of events, beginning with the Florida Trophy on Saturday, March 25, followed by the SAISA Women's Open on Sunday, March 26.
