ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (Feb. 26, 2023) – The Rollins sailing team concluded its busy weekend on Sunday with the second and final day of the Eckerd Interconference Regatta, claiming eighth place.
The Tars' "B" boat notched a pair of top-five finishes in its final two races of the day, giving three top-five results for the weekend. In all, the "B" boat recorded 110 points, while the "A" boat scored 143 points, giving the team a total of 253 points.
Florida State won the event with 71 total points, followed by South Florida (100 points), Princeton (126 points), Eckerd (136 points), and Jacksonville (138 points) in the top five.

The Tars will travel to a pair of events next weekend, including the Old Florida Regatta in Gainesville on Saturday, March 4, as well as the Mendelblatt Team Race hosted by South Florida, which begins on Saturday, March 4, and concludes the following day.
