WINTER PARK, Fla. (Nov. 4, 2023) – The Rollins men's swimming team earned a 174.5-78.5 victory over Barry on Saturday to improve to 2-4 on the season. The Bucs, who were competing in their first dual meet in program history, drop to 0-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Blue and Gold kicked the day off with a victory in 400-yard medley relay thanks to a winning time of 3:29.09 from the team of William Slowey, Tully Njoroge, Luke Dinges, and Seth Basinger.
- The first individual event was the 1000-yard freestyle, won by Keanu Garnier-Chan in 10:06.51.
- Trey Carter pushed the win streak to three events with a first-place time of 1:44.19 in the 200-yard freestyle.
- Jaswanth Yannam took second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.29.
- Njoroge took first place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 58.59.
- Diego Spielmann placed third in the 200-yard butterfly, touching the wall in 2:02.49.
- Slowey got a victory in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.19.
- Michael Tucker gave Rollins another event win with a time of 48.75 in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Nicholas Bonta took second in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:59.37.
- Njoroge won his second event of the day with a time of 2:09.69 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Garnier-Chan doubled his win total with a time of 4:50.80 in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Dinges tied with a Barry swimmer for first place in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 50.75.
- Slowey won his second race of the day in the final individual event, the 400-yard individual medley, clocking a time of 4:13.88.
- The relay team of Dinges, Richard Riley, Basinger, and Tucker posted a winning time of 1:27.27 in the 200-yard freestyle relay to close out the day.
