BOCA RATON, Fla. (Oct. 28, 2023) – The Rollins women's swimming team dropped to 1-4 on the season with a 180-80 loss at 14th-ranked Lynn on Saturday. The Fighting Knights go to 2-0 with the victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Tars opened the day with a third-place finish in the 400-yard medley relay, with the team of Elizabeth Sander, Abigayle Wood, Lauren Diehl, and Amelia Kondal touching the wall in third, though no time was recorded.
- Elliot Fox placed second in the 1000-yard freestyle in a time of 10:54.87.
- Alonna Clark (1:59.33) grabbed second place in the 200-yard freestyle.
- Sander posted a third-place time of 1:02.48 in the 100-yard backstroke.
- Wood earned third place in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:08.23.
- Diehl took home the first event win for the Blue and Gold, winning the 200-yard butterfly in 2:12.10.
- Kondal grabbed second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.38.
- A short time later, Kondal took third in the 100-yard freestyle in 55.37.
- Sander (2:11.90) and Mackenzie Adams (2:15.36) finished second and third, respectively, in the 200-yard backstroke.
- Wood got her second third-place result of the day with a 2:27.15 in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Clark earned the second event win for the Tars, touching the wall in 5:18.01 in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Diehl took second in the final individual event, posting a time of 2:15.26 in the 200-yard individual medley.
- Rollins closed the event with the team of Sander, Clark, Wood, and Kondal placing second in the 400-yard freestyle relay in 3:43.59.

The Tars will be back at home next Saturday, Nov. 4, when they host Barry at 12 p.m. Next week's meet will also be Family Weekend at the Alfond Swimming Pool.
