WINTER PARK, Fla. (Oct. 21, 2023) – The Rollins women's swimming team fell to 1-3 with a 222-39 loss to No. 5 Tampa on Friday afternoon. The Spartans improved to 1-0 with the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lauren Diehl recorded the first top-three finish of the day with a third-place time of 2:09.89 in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Abigayle Wood placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke, clocking a time of 2:27.52.
- Elliot Fox was third in the 500-yard freestyle, touching the wall in 5:23.51.
- The Tars closed out the day with a second-place showing in the 200-yard freestyle relay as the team of Dylan Beeson, Danielle Boland, Audrey Perry, and Abby Flood posted a time of 1:18.16.

The Tars will be back in the pool on Saturday, Oct. 28, when they travel to No. 14 Lynn for a 12 p.m. meet.
