WINTER PARK, Fla. (Oct. 21, 2023) – The Rollins men's swimming team fell to 1-3 with a 206-55 loss to No. 5 Tampa on Friday afternoon. The Spartans improved to 1-0 with the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The quartet of Luke Dinges, William Slowey, Michael Tucker, and Trey Carter clocked a time of 1:33.83 in the 200-yard medley relay to place third.
- In the 1000-yard freestyle, Andrew Boles earned a third-place result with a time of 10:05.98.
- Slowey grabbed second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 56.44.
- Dinges placed second with a time of 1:51.61 in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Tully Njoroge (47.88) and Richard Riley (47.90) placed second and third, respectively, in the 100-yard freestyle.
- Slowey registered his second runner-up finish of the day with a time of 1:54.46 in the 200-yard individual medley.
- Rollins ended the event with a second-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay thanks to a time of 1:26.18 recorded by the team of Slowey, Njoroge, Tucker, and Seth Basinger.
