WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 14, 2023) – The Rollins men's swimming team dropped to 1-2 with a 168-94 loss at NAIA No. 1 Keiser on Friday afternoon. The Seahawks improved to 2-0 with the win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The quartet of Luke Dinges, William Slowey, Michael Tucker, and Trey Carter clocked a time of 1:33.85 in the 200-yard medley relay to place second.
- In the 200-yard freestyle, Seth Basinger finished third with a time of 1:44.76.
- Dinges grabbed the first win of the day for the Blue and Gold, finishing the 100-yard backstroke in 51.03.
- Slowey got a second-place result in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 57.53.
- Tucker earned the second win of the day, posting a 2:00.27 in the 200-yard butterfly.
- Tully Njoroge was third in the 100-yard freestyle, registering a time of 47.88.
- Dinges recorded a second-place time of 1:54.85 in the 200-yard backstroke.
- Slowey clocked a time of 2:06.17 to finish as the runner-up in the 200-yard breaststroke.
- Andrew Boles (4:52.20) and Keanu Garnier-Chan (4:55.73) finished second and third, respectively, in the 500-yard freestyle.
- Dinges posted his second win of the event with a time of 51.48 in the 100-yard butterfly, winning the race by .01 seconds.
- Skylar Murphy made it back-to-back wins for the Tars, winning the final individual event, the 400-yard individual medley, in a time of 4:17.12.
- Rollins closed out the day with a second-place time of 1:26.60 in the 200-yard freestyle relay, recorded by the team of Basinger, Carter, Richard Riley, and Slowey.

The Tars will be back in the pool on Friday, Oct. 13, when they travel to NAIA No. 1 Keiser to face the defending NAIA National Champions in a 3 p.m. meet.
