Women's Tennis Awarded for Academic Excellence

Eight student-athletes named Scholar Athletes; team also recognized

TEMPE, Ariz. (July 12, 2022) - The Intercollegaite Tennis Association (ITA) announced the recipients of the All-Academic Teams, as well as the individual scholar athletes for the spring 2022 season. 

ITA Scholar Athletes
Rollins was well represented on the Scholar Athlete list, with eight of nine rostered athletes achieving a GPA of 3.5 or higher. The list included Alexandra Borg, Natalia Collado Cordon, Georgina Groth, Polina Ligay, Maria McKay, Polina Vlasova, Eve Wasil, and Erin Yaroshuk

ITA All-Academic Teams
Rollins easily made the list for All-Academic team, in which they needed a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. A total of 109 Division-II women's teams made the list. Joining Rollins from the Sunshine State Conference were Barry, Embry-Riddle, Florida Southern, Lynn, Nova Southeastern, Saint Leo and Tampa.
