Chelsea Peace led the way offensively, going 2-for-4 with a double, a home run, a stolen base, a run scored, and two RBIs. Tristin Peace went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run while Raiven Bryant went 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored, and an RBI. Grace Germer finished 2-for-2 with a stolen base and a run scored.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Inning

Third Inning
  • Germer led off the third with an infield single and promptly stole second.
  • Two batters later, Bryant bunted Germer home with a successful sacrifice; she also reached base because the Vikings tried to cut down Germer at home unsuccessfully.

  • Worrell then hit a sac fly to score Bryant, giving the Tars a 2-1 lead.
Fifth Inning
  • The Peace sisters helped break the game open in the fifth.
  • Chelsea Peace hit a two-run homer to center field with two outs, increasing the lead to 4-1.
  • Three batters later, Tristin Peace connected for a three-run shot to left-center, making it a 7-1 game.
