MELBOURNE, Fla. (March 4, 2022) – Rollins senior swimmer
Beatriz Olivieri has been named Second Team All-Sunshine State Conference for her efforts in the pool this season. This is the first All-SSC honor for the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil native.

Olivieri starred for Rollins this season. The current holder of six school records, she placed five of them during the 2021-22 campaign. She was named SSC Female Swimmer of the Week once as she led the Tars to victory at the Panther Invitational. Beatriz then paced Rollins to a fifth place finish at the SSC Championships. The senior collected a pair of gold medals, in the 200 Yard and 500 Yard Freestyle events. Olivieri is set to continue her campaign at the NCAA Championships where she qualified in four events, the 100 and 200 Yard Butterfly and the 200 and 500 Yard Freestyle swims.
Nova Southeastern University, the 2022 SSC women's champion, boasts seven honorees, including four First Team award winners. Representatives of Florida Southern College, Florida Tech, Lynn University, and the University of Tampa join Olivieri in the honors as well. Coach of the Year, Swimmer of the Year, and Freshman of the Year will be voted on by league coaches following the NCAA Division II championship.
The NCAA Championships are set for March 9-12 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center in Greensboro, North Carolina.
