GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 12, 2022) – The Tars competed in the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay as they complete their outing on the final day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championship. The Tars earned points as the 14
th place team in the event.

Chance Ricca,
Cruse Sweeney, and
Christian Huber combined to stop the clock in 2:59.52.  The tightly packed field saw the Tars finish less than a second out of 11
th position, while they touched the wall .14 seconds ahead of the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

As the competition comes to a close, the Tars set a new program best, ranking 17
th in the team leaderboard with 69 points. Queens captured the overall national championship. Drury took second and Indianapolis rounded out the podium positions.

The fourth day of competition completed the 2022 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championship, finishing the Tars season.
