GREENSBORO, N.C. (March 11, 2022) – Beatriz Olivieri closed out one of the most decorated careers in Rollins Swimming history with a pair of events on the third day of the 2022 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships. The senior reached the Consolation Final in the 200 Yard Butterfly.

Olivieri opened the day with the 500 Yard Freestyle, finishing 31
st in the preliminary swims with a time of 5:02.56. Olivieri then shaved a half second of her qualifying time in the 200 Yard Butterfly, stopping the clock in 2:01.87, to reach the Consolation Final as the 12
th ranked swimmer.

Olivieri led the pack off the block, opening the 200 Yard Butterfly Consolation Final with the fastest 100 Yards. Olivieri remained near the front of the pack in the backend of the event, finishing in a tie for third in the heat with a time of 2:01.37. The swim earned Rollins 5.5 points and garnered Honorable Mention All-American recognition.

With one day left in the competition the Tars rank 25th in the team leaderboard with 16.5 points. Queens leads the field with Nova Southeastern in second and Indianapolis rounding out the podium positions.

The pair of swims close out the Rollins Women's program's NCAA Championship where Olivieri raced in four individual events.
