  • A service error gave Tampa the serve back, and the Spartans cashed in, ending the set on a 4-0 run to win it, 25-20.
Set Two
  • Tampa took an early 8-3 lead in the second set and never looked back.
  • A 7-1 run pushed UT's lead to 21-12, and the visitors closed it out with a 25-14 win to take a 2-0 lead.
Set Three
  • After Rollins started well in the third, leading 8-5, the Spartans went on a 6-1 run to pull ahead, 11-9.
  • A 6-1 burst by the Tars put the home team back in front, 16-13.
  • The pendulum swung back to UT as it scored four straight to inch ahead, 19-18.
  • The score was tied at 20, 21, 22, and 23 before kills from Andie Baldridge and Gerard on back-to-back points secured the 25-23 win for the Tars, sending the match to a fourth set.
Set Four
  • Tampa scored the opening three points of the set four, and before long the visitors were leading it, 11-4.
