FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2022) – The top-ranked women's swimming team from Nova Southeastern defeated Rollins on Saturday by a score of 199-63. The Tars are now 0-2 in dual meets this season, while the Sharks go to 1-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The quartet of Leora Rose, Abigayle Wood, Sarah Brown, and Dylan Beeson finished third in the 200-yard medley relay in 1:52.46.
- Jill Hughes earned a third-place result in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:50.73.
- Alonna Clark took second in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:58.81 and the 500-yard freestlye (5:12.66), and was third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.56.
- Elizabeth Sander was second in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.22, narrowly edging Beeson's third-place time of 25.24.
- Sander also placed third in the 200-yard backstroke in 2:11.01.
- Brooke Postell clocked in a second-place time of 2:27.63 in the 200-yard breaststroke, with Wood close behind in third in 2:28.93.
- Amelia Kondal touched the wall third in the 100-yard individual medley in 1:03.35.

The Tars will head to Tampa on Friday, Oct. 21, to take on No. 2 Tampa in a dual meet scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.
