WINTER PARK, Fla. (September 25, 2021) – The Tars were unable to pull the upset, falling to #15 Lynn, 2-1, on the turf at Barker Family Stadium. Rollins falls to 3-2-2 on the year, and 0-1-1 in Sunshine State Conference play. The Fighting Knights improve to 6-1-0 overall, and remain unblemished in SSC action, at 3-0-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
First Half
- The Fighting Knights got an early lead, converting on a corner kick just five minutes into the game. Ali Koller got on the end of a ball from Alexandre Horveno for the score.
- Rollins controlled much of the final 40 minutes of the half, dominating possession, and creating chances, but the Tars were unable to put a shot on target.
Second Half
- Lynn would double their lead in the 65th minute. Javier Ibanez got behind the Rollins defense and found himself alone with Maximillian Obermeier. Ibanez first shot deflected off the keeper, but the ball fell back to the Fighting Knight who kept his composure and guided the ball into the empty net.
- Rollins would respond less than two minutes later. Dominic Adomakoh beat his defender down the sideline and sent a low cross into the box. Georgios Koliniatis got a glancing touch on the ball at the near post and redirected it over the Lynn keeper and into the net. The goal was Koliniatis sixth of the year, tying him for the conference lead.
- Rollins continued pressing for the equalizer for the remaining 24 minutes, and while the Lynn defense bent, it never broke.
- The Tars comeback hopes took a fatal hit in the 88th minutes when the referee ruled that Janosch Barho denied an obvious goal scoring opportunity and showed him a red card. The Tars, down a man, could not muster a successful attack in the final moments.
