WINTER PARK, Fla. (April 17, 2021) – Rollins picked up a Sunshine State Conference victory on senior day, defeating the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 6-1 on the Tiedtke Tennis Courts. Rollins senior class consitsts of
Leo Cordero,
Luke Horan,
Freddy Danielson, and
Atakan Gezer. Rollins ends the campaign at 3-4, and 3-4 in conference play. The Sailfish end their season at 1-7, with a 1-6 SSC mark.

The Tars started strong earning the doubles point.Â
Mikkel Baumann and
Freddy Danielson took their third court match by a score of 6-3.Â
Denis Golubev and
Efe Comu earned a 6-3 victory as well, securing the tally for Rollins. The Sailfish avoided the sweep on the top court where Philipp Hoffmann and Rodolfo Hasegawa edged
Andrea Brignacca and
Charlie Putrino 7-5.

Golubev tallied his second victory of the day to start the scoring in singles play. The junior sailed to a 6-3, 6-3 win on the first court. Palm Beach Atlantic earned their lone score on the third court; Roberto Binaghi defeating Baumann 6-1, 6-4. The Tars righted the ship with a
Moritz Stenzer, 6-0, 7-5 win on the sixth court. Comu would seal the win from the fourth position. The freshman recovered from a first set defeat to take his match 2-6, 6-4, 6-2. Putrino earned a three set win of his own, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, to pad the lead. Brignacca sent the match final after a marathon against Jorge Santamaria. The Italian took a 6-3, 2-6, 7-6 decision on the second court.
