Sam LaFontaine swung the big bat, going 3-3 with three RBI. The junior infielder hit his fifth homer run of the season, a two-run shot to cap the fourth, and later drove in a run to give the Tars a 7-4 lead.

Luke Reidy went 2-3 and Cameron Meehan batted 2-3 with both scoring a run. Nick Santucci was 1-4 with two RBI, tallying his fourth home run of the season.

Jack Gonzalez had his 22-game hitting streak come to an end, going 0-3 against the Eagles.

Tars starter Cameron Enck improved to 7-3 on the year, scattering eight hits and allowing four runs with three strikeout in five and a third innings of work. Jimmy Robbins earned his fourth save of the year, striking out five of the his batters he faced without allowing a base runner.

The Tars spotted ERAU two runs in the fourth as Luis Olivier notched a two-run home run in the fourth. In the bottom of the frame, Reidy led off with a talk and Brendan Brundage also reached after an Eagles error. Cameron Montgomery sacrificed in Reidy before Santucci cleared the bases with his dinger, putting Rollins on top 3-2.

Kyle Hintz later doubled-in Meehan and LaFontaine put an exclamation point on the inning with a deep blast to right field, getting Rollins ahead 6-2.

After Embry-Riddle scored two in the sixth, LaFontaine gave Rollins an insurance run with an RBI single that scored Jared Herron.

The Eagles hung a run in the seventh before Robbins came on and slammed the door on the Eagles.
