INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (March 16, 2019) – Swimming her fourth event of the weekend, Sydney Willis finished 30th in the 1650-yard freestyle at the NCAA Division II Swimming Championship on Saturday.
The event closes Rollins women's swimming's stellar effort in Indianapolis.
Willis posted a time of 17:25.23 on Saturday, swimming in the earlier afternoon heats. She put a cap on a standout freshman season where she swam the 200, 500, 1000 and 1650-yard freestyle races at nationals.
Rollins women have nine points after Beatriz Olivieri's ninth place finish in the 200-yard freestyle on Friday and sits in 34th place as a team.
