Rollins Drops Road Swim at Lynn

BOCA RATON, FLA. (November 2, 2019)- Less than 24 hours after hosting Saint Leo, Rollins visited Lynn in Boca Raton and fell 164-116.  

Jill Hughes came out on top with victory in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:45.03. Alana Goodwin grabbed a runner-up finish in the same event with a time of 10:57.81.

Beatriz Olivieri clinched first place in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:07.50 and finished runner-up in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.63)

Maya Thompson notched a victory in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.97. Thompson also finished runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle (53.82).

Marisa Gingerich was a runner-up in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of (1:02.06). Sydney Willis finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 5:24.02.

Finishing the day Thompson, Willis, Anna Van Zyverden and Hannah Brockman took first place in the 400-yard freestyle relay with a time of 3:39.27.

Rollins will be back in the pool Nov. 22-24 in Melbourne, Fla. for the three day Panther Invitational.
