- The Sailfish would strike early in game two when Riley Herold fouled out to third base, but allowed Jake Summey to tag up and score to give the Sailfish an early 1-0 lead.
- Brian Brooker would knot the score up at 1-1 in the bottom of the second, when he went deep over the right fence for his seventh home run of the year.
- The Tars would take the lead in the bottom of the fourth that got started with a couple of walks by the Sailfish pitcher. Sam Lafonatine reached on a fielder's choice, and was able to plate Nick Breen in the process, to take a 3-1 advantage.
- Nick breen would add another run in the bottom of the fifth, with an RBI single to right field, bringing home Brundage for the score.
- Palm Beach Atlantic was able to regain their lead, 5-4 in the top of the sixth, and then add to it in the seventh with a solo shot home run, to push their lead to 6-4.
- It was Breen once again with an RBI single for the Tars, this time scoring Russell, but The Sailfish would answer with a Johnson double in their favor to bring the score to 7-5 in the top of the eighth.
- In the bottom of the ninth, the Tars were able to capitalize on a big Sailfish error, that allowed both Brundage and Ashline to score.
