WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 26, 2018) - It was a good start to a busy weekend for the Tars Friday night, as Rollins welcomed Saint Leo for a Sunshine State Conference meet. Despite five event wins the Tars fell 190-72.

Beatriz Olivieri recorded two individual wins on the day in the 500 freestyle in (5:09.38) and the 100 butterfly hitting the wall in (57.26). She also swam a leg in the 200-medley relay (1:54.02) and the 200 freestyle relay (1:41.44), both events finishing in second place.
Grace Hansen finished first place in the 1000-yard breaststroke in 10:59.58.
Sydney Willis had two first place wins in the 200-yard freestyle (1:57.57) and the 100 IM (1:02.78). Willis also added a second place finish in the 500 freestyle (5:15.61).
Maya Thompson finished second place in the 100 freestyle with a time of 24.57. Marisa Gingerich finished second on the day in the 100 backstroke in (1:02.29).
Rollins is back in action Saturday, October 27 traveling to Nova Southeastern at 12 p.m.
