WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (April 4, 2016) - The Rollins College softball team extended their winning streak to eight games after securing a 5-0 victory against Palm Beach Atlantic on Monday evening. Niki Fogle collected her 17th win of the year after the contest.

Rollins improves to 28-6-1 on the year while the Sailfish drop to 24-14 overall.

Hailee Keisling got things started for the Tars as the junior led off with an inside the park home run in the first inning. That is the junior's 13th RBI and second home run of the season.

After a quiet second inning, the Tars bats came alive in the third. Courtney Durbin singled down the right field line with the bases loaded scoring Tiffany Osmanski from third and Chelsea Reed from second. Brittany Johnson scored off a sacrifice fly from Brianne Lint on the next play to extend Rollins' lead to 4-0.

Sunshine State Conference Player of the Week, Jule Kranz doubled to left center in the fourth scoring Keisling, who reached on a fielder's choice.

The 5-0 lead is all Fogle needed as the senior pitched seven complete innings allowing five hits, no runs, one walk while striking out two in the victory.

Rollins returns to action tomorrow as they complete the weekday series against Palm Beach Atlantic with a doubleheader. Game one is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. For the latest news, updates, and information on the Rollins softball team, fans can visit RollinsSports.com.
