Rollins has now not dropped a single point in three straight
matches, coasting to a 9-0 win over Stonehill on Tuesday. With the
win, the Tars improve to 3-2 on the year while the Skyhawks fall to
0-1.
Rollins came out firing, dominating in doubles to jump out to a
3-0 lead right out of the gates. Shannon

Davis paired up in the No. 1 match and improved to 3-2 as a
team after defeating Bailey Paradiso and Kirsti Toegemann, 8-2.
In the No. 2 match, Johanna
Olsson and Teresa
Kaiser beat Analise Kump and Victoria Barbetta, 8-4 while Zoe
Monge and Carlye
Goldman teamed up to handle Nicole Downey and Courtenay Cavett,
8-0, in the No. 3 spot. Olsson and Kaiser are now 4-1 when paired
together while Monge and Goldman are a perfect 2-0 in the
spring.
The Tars carried their momentum into singles, winning all but
one set in six matches.
Etten improved to 3-1 in singles with a straight set win over
Paradio in the No. 1 match with Davis coasting to a 6-1, 6-0, win
over Analise Kump in the No. 2 spot.
Kaiser beat Barbetter,4-6, 6-4, 12-10, in the No. 3 match and
Olsson edged Emma Prinos, 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) in the No. 4 hole. Savanna
Fuller joined in on the action with a straight set win in the
No. 5 match and Fabiana
Vitanza also won in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, over Amanda
DePasquale at No. 6 singles.
The Tars will be right back at it on Wednesday, traveling to
Embry-Riddle with the match to begin at 3:30 p.m.
