WINTER PARK, Fla. (February 7, 2016) - The

it was a frenzy of action in the third quarter that saw the Tars
outscore Young Harris 7-1 to lock in a win to open their 2016
campaign. Rollins defeated Young Harris by a final score of 13-6
to move to a record of 1-0, while the Mountain Lions drop to a mark

eight saves, while relief goalie Ryan Pickowitz made five in the
fourth quarter to help keep the Tars at bay.
Young Harris bit first, with a goal by Silk with 11:29 remaining
in the first quarter, but a goal by LeMaster four minutes later
knotted the scoreboard at 1-1. Schultz gave Rollins the lead with
an unassisted goal at the 5:11 mark, but Young Harris notched their
second goal of the game with 3:45 to go in the first quarter to set
the scoreboard at 2-2.
Rollins held Young Harris off of the scoreboard throughout the
second stanza, and added two goals to enter into the half with a
4-2 lead, but it was the third quarter that proved to be the key
for the Tars.
Coming out of the break, Rollins notched two quick goals five
minutes in, with a goal by Phillips at the 9:58 mark, and a man-up
goal by Buell just 37 second later to extend the Tars' lead to

Rollins closed out the quarter with five unanswered goals to set
the score at 11-3 entering into the final period.
The Mountain Lions outscored the Tars 3-2 in the fourth quarter,
but the damage the Tars inflicted in the third stanza was too much
for Young Harris to recover from as Rollins secured a
season-opening 13-6 victory.
The Tars led the game in shots, 46-31, as well as ground balls,
32-29. Young Harris held the edge on the faceoff, winning
12-of-22. The Tars were 3-for-5 on man-up opportunities, while a
solid man-down defense held Young Harris scoreless on all six
