- Fourth-seeded Rollins came through a late surge to
defeat the No. 5 seed Florida Tech, 5-2, on Friday evening in the
SSC Tournament Quarterfinals. With the win, the Tars advance to
Friday's Semifinal against top-seeded Barry.

Bettink/Patrick
Sell were the only Tars at one doubles who managed to win
8-3.
In singles, Bettink won his 22nd match this year, going through
Patrick Hernandez with ease 6-3, 6-1.
At four singles Malte
Christesen used every point and a long rally at his disposal as
the senior won 6-1, 6-1 over Hartmann, which helped the Tars take a
3-2 match lead.
Keegan
Burger was one game away from helping the Tars go up 4-2 in the
match, but lost the second set tiebreaker, eventually picking up a
4th match win for Rollins, 6-2, 6-7 (4), 6-3.
Robin Marchione fought hard, using his sharp forehand to win key
points as the junior also used his endurance to help Rollins clinch
the match with their fifth match win, 6-1, 6-7 (8), 6-2.
The Tars play top-seed Barry tomorrow at 2:30 p.m. with a
matchup in the SSC Semifinal on Friday, April 25th at 9 a.m. Fans can follow live scoring
