WINTER PARK, Fla.. (March 6, 2015) - Peter Nicoletto and Skip Kovar went 2-for-4 as Rollins won 11-3 against Assumption Friday afternoon from Alfond Stadium.

Rollins (11-9) has won five of their last six games during Baseball Week.

Left fielder Skip Kovar scored three runs and added three rbi's while Peter Nicoletto also added two hits and scored twice. Christian Coburn stole three bases to add to his total of 15. Coburn, Philip Burket, Nick Breen, Evan Rivera and Grant Ashline all contributed one hit, giving the Tars nine on the day.

The Rollins bullpen came up strong again, allowing no runs on three hits in five innings of work. Matt Tulley received his second win of the year after starting four innings and allowing three runs on seven hits.

The Tars trailed 1-0 entering the bottom of the first and tied the game 1-1 after Nicoletto drove in Coburn with an rbi single to right field.

Rollins scored twice in the second, once more in the third and once in the fifth and led 5-3.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Tars had three men walk, one hit by pitch and only one hit but managed to score three runs and take an 8-3 lead.

Nicoletto began the eighth with a single to center field. Kovar entered with the bases loaded and delivered a sacrifice fly, which intended on scoring just one run but instead cleared all bases after a throwing error by right field scored all three.

Rollins continues the week against Concordia Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
