WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 22, 2015) - The No. 9
Rollins women's tennis team fell 7-0 to the Temple Owls (Division
I) Sunday afternoon from the Martin Complex.
Rollins (3-8) entered Sunday's match with only four available
players due to undisclosed injuries. Temple and Rollins played with
division one rules as the Tars battled hard in both doubles matches
trailing 4-3 in each, but eventually falling in the three doubles
matches, one by default.
At one singles, junior Carli
Davis led 3-2 in the first set but was broken on serve twice
and fell 6-3, 6-1.
The Tars begin Sunshine State Conference action this Tuesday,
March 24 at Florida Southern.
