ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (February 25, 2015) - The
Rollins baseball team (5-7) visits the Flagler Saints this
Wednesday, February 25 at 6 p.m.
ROLLINS AT A GLANCE: Rollins begins the week
with a visit to Flagler. The Tars also begin baseball week on
Friday and have four games in a row against Assumption, Saint Rose,
Saint Anselm and Concordia (Ny.).
Burket leads the Tars with a .360 batting average, 15 rbi and 18
hits in 50 at-bats. Christian
Coburn leads the team with seven stolen bases. Peter
Nicoletto has four triples on the year and senior Bryan
Perlmutter has a .583 batting average as he'll return to the
lineup this week. In four starts freshman Brian
Auerbach leads the Tars starting staff with a 3.48 earned run
average.
FLAGLER AT A GLANCE: The Saints have began the
season 11-1. Flagler has won eight games in a row since losing 9-0
to No. 35 West Florida. Andrew Brodbeck leads the team with a .425
batting average in 40 at-bats. Nick Kranick has 16 rbi's this
season and six doubles.
Flagler has three starting pitchers with an era under 3.20.
Danny Brown leads the team with a 3-0 record and a 1.00 era, Mike
O'Reilly is 3-1 on the year with a 2.42 era and Michael Maiocco is
3-0 on the season.
LAST TIME OUT: February 7, 2015-- Rollins lost
8-1 against Flagler from Pensacola. Peter
Nicoletto went 3-for-4 while Matthew
Tulley threw seven innings but allowed three runs as the Tars
dropped to 2-3.
