2017 (Senior): 1st team Academic All-District…Was only one of two Tars to start all 50 games… finished third on the team in batting average with .319… compiled 66 hits including three doubles, and one homerun… scored 22 runs, and drove in an additional 29 while maintaining a .981 fielding percentage.
2016 (Junior): Started 48 games for the Tars on the year, all at first base… finished second on the team with a .391 batting average, hitting 15 doubles, a triple, and a homerun… scored 42 runs while driving in 36… successful on 8-9 stolen base attempts and held a .988 fielding percentage… went 2-3 in a 5-3 win against No. 2 Tampa on May 13, including the game winning RBI in the seventh inning… named a CoSIDA Academic All-District performer
2015 (Sophomore): In his second season at Rollins, Purcell started 10 games at first base while appearing in 29 during the year...Purcell batted .261 with 12 hits and three doubles in 46 at-bats...Defensively, Purcell was sound as he committed just one error and had a fielding percentage of .992 with over 112 put outs...Fall Athletic Director''s Honor Roll....Spring Athletic Director''s Honor Roll.
2014 (Freshman): Appeared in 35 games for the Tars in his first season, including 28 starts…batted .260 as he became the starting first baseman mid-way through the season…notched a career-best three hits in his final game of 2014 against Nova Southeastern (5/3)…in the opening games against NSU (5/2), went 1-for-4 with a career-high two runs and one stolen base…ended the season on a two-game hit streak but held an eight-game hit streak earlier in the season…recorded six multi-hit games and two multi-RBI games…also ended the season with a three-game reached base streak, holding an eight-game reached base streak earlier in the year…concluded the year with 26 hits, 10 runs scored, 13 RBI, 10 walks and two stolen bases with a .327 on base percentage...Fall Athletic Director''s Honor Roll...SSC Spring Commissioner''s Honor Roll...Spring Athletic Director''s Honor Roll.
