Holding a two game lead in the Sunshine State Conference with
five games left, 14th-ranked Rollins welcomes Eckerd to
Winter Park for a key match-up Saturday. The Tars are also looking
to avenge a loss to the Tritons earlier in the year, the only
blemish on their SSC schedule. Eckerd has won its last two and is
jockeying for position in the SSC standings with the conference
tournament looming in three weeks. Fans can follow all the action

ROLLINS AT A GLANCE: The Tars have won
seven-straight since the loss to Eckerd and beat Barry 56-45 its
last time out on Wednesday. Sarah
Taylor led the way with 14 points while Emmalee
Schill tallied 13 points and 10 rebounds. Cassidy
Bailey notched nine points. The game was tied 22-22 at the half
and Rollins used a big run to start the second for the win.
Schill is ninth in the conference and leads Rollins with 12.1
points to go along with 6.8 rebounds a game. Ashley
Losch is scoring 11.3 points and ranks fourth in the SSC with
7.3 rebounds a night. Taylor is getting 10 points and 5.7 rebounds
an outing. Tanaya
Jones ranks fourth in the league in steals (2.3 spg) and sixth
in assists (3.5 apg).
The Tars lead the SSC and rank fourth nationally in scoring
defense, allowing just 54.4 points a game. On offense, Rollins is
putting up 67.5 points a night.
Glenn Wilkes
Jr. (Stetson '81) is in his 29th year leading the Tars and owns
a career record of 647-208. He is the eighth-winningest active
coach in Division II and has the fourth most victories. All-time in
Division II, Wilkes ranks as the 13th winningest and ninth in total
victories.
ECKERD AT A GLANCE: The Tritons come to Winter
Park tied for fourth in the SSC standings and needing style points
to grab a spot in the NCAA Regional Tournament. EC has won its last
two, most recently a 75-65 win at Tampa. Rana Thomas led the way
with 22 points while Ivana Grbic was near a triple-double with 14
points, 10 rebounds and six assists. Jordyn Alexander scored 14
points off the bench.
Thomas has led the Tritons in scoring the last three games and
is second in the SSC with 17.2 points a game. Eight times this year
she has scored 20 or more points, including a season-best 29
against Rollins. Trine Kasemagi is scoring 12.9 points and is also
getting 5.2 rebounds a game. Kayla Bowlin adds 8.8 points and leads
the league with 5.7 assists a night.
Eckerd is third in the conference in scoring with 69.5 points a
game and is allowing a SSC third-best 59.3 a game.
Paul Honsinger (Eckerd '98) is in his ninth-year leading Eckerd
and is 123-118 at his alma mater.
THE SERIES: Rollins leads the all-time series
with Eckerd 67-15. They last played on January 17 in St. Petersburg
with the Tritons upsetting the 10th-ranked Tars 75-63.

Schill led the Tars with 16 points while Ashley
Losch added 13 points and nine rebounds. Sarah
Taylor was also near a double-double with nine points and 10
rebounds. Rana Thomas was 12-of-12 from the free throw line en
route to 29 points. Trine Kasemangi added 19 points and 10 rebounds
