WINTER PARK, Fla. (November 23, 2015) - Sharif Almulla, Joey Galvis and Eric Castaneda recorded new career highs on Monday evening as Rollins coasted past Puerto Rico-Bayamon at home, 105-72.

With the win, the Tars move to a perfect 6-0 while the Cowboys fall to 0-1.

Almulla led Rollins with 25 points on 10-15 shooting, including 4-9 from beyond the arc. Galvis doubled his previous career best with 18 on Monday, also hitting four triples, while Castaneda netted 12 to go along with five rebounds and two assists. Three others scored in double figures for the Tars: Sam Philpott (14), Mike Bedulskis (10) and Jeff Merton (10). Senior James Ferrell set a new personal best with nine assists.

For Bayamon, Alexis Parrilla finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds while Nathaniel Martinez chipped in 15 points in 33 minutes. Luis Gonzalez added 12, going 4-13 from the field.

Rollins again shot better than 50 percent from the field, going 38-65, including 12-30 from three. The Tars also shot well from the line, going 17-20.

Defensively, Rollins outrebounded the Cowboys, 38-34, and forced 24 turnovers.

UPR came out firing, jumping out to a five point lead two minutes into the game on a Parralla three at the 18 minute mark.

The Tars wouldn't take their first lead until an Almulla bucket with 13:46 on the clock gave Rollins a 16-14 lead.

Rollins' lead would grow to as much as nine late in the half before taking an eight point advantage into the break.

The Tars would put the Cowboys away in the second half, jumping out to a double digit lead less than a minute in and never looked back, cruising to the win.
