It was all Tars in the early going, as they jumped out to a

in by Merton. A Mike
Bedulskis layup just over two minutes later gave Rollins their
biggest lead of the game at 25-11 with 9:24 left in the first
period.
The Lions would answer with a 17-4 run over the next six minutes
to pull back within a point at 29-28 after a Dillingham triple at
the 3:51 mark,
Another Dillingham three would pull the game even with just over
a minute left in the half before Rollins closed with a 6-0 run to
take a 45-39 lead into the break.
The Tars would extend their lead to as much as 11 just over
three minutes into the second half on a pair of free throws by
Bedulskis but Paine would again answer, this time with a 12-0 run
to take their first lead since the game's opening minutes at 58-57
with 12:56 left.
The game would go back and forth from that point until Rollins
took the lead for good at the 7:35 mark when Petty was hit with a
technical foul, giving the Tars four straight free throws to take a
three point lead that they would never relinquish.
The Lions would eventually pull back within one with 3:35 left
