WINTER PARK, Fla. (January 30, 2015) -
The No. 13 Rollins Tars men's tennis team were picked to finish
third in the Sunshine State Conference preseason polls.
In a poll conducted among the SSC head men's tennis coaches,
Barry was picked to finish first as they received 35 points and
claimed five of the seven first-place votes. Lynn was selected
second with 31 points and received the remaining two first-place
votes, and Rollins finished with 25 points and were picked
third.
Rollins owns 18 SSC tournament championships as Malte
Christesen, Anton
Bettink, Robin Marchione and Adrian Di
Felice all return from a team that finished 12-11 and third in
the SSC last season.
The men's tennis season begins on Saturday, Jan. 31 at 1 p.m.
from the Bert W. Martin Tennis Complex against Palm Beach
Atlantic.
