HARTSVILLE, S.C. (March 30, 2014) -
No. 9 Rollins rebounded in a big way from a tough loss on
Saturday, cruising to a dominant 18-1 win over Coker on Sunday
afternoon.
The Tars are now 7-3 while the Cobras fall for the sixth game in
a row and now sit at 2-7 overall.
Rollins saw ten different goal scorers in the win, led by Mary
Stufano and Tyler
Thomas who finished with three goals each. Stufano also added a
pair of assists while Kelly
Thayer, Brittany
Eveler, and Taylor
Burns each recorded two scores. Burns' two tied a career high
and Eveler also set a career high with three assists.
Mackenzie Baker accounted for the lone Coker goal.

Lisle started in goal, playing the first 18 min before being
replaced by Hannah
Ricci. Ricci played in a season high 42 minutes and made four
saves.
The Cobras actually led early, opening the scoring less than a
minute and a half into the game to take a 1-0 lead before the Tars
offense woke up. Rollins would erupt for seven goals, including two
by both Ty. Thomas and Thayer, over the next fifteen-plus minutes
to take a 7-1 lead at the 10:49 mark of the first half.
The Tars would close the half with goals by Stufano, Ty. Thomas,
and Angelica
Perdomo to take a commanding 10-1 lead at the break.
Rollins would carry the momentum into the second, scoring three
goals in the first four minutes of the half. First Amy
Martin scored her ninth of the year followed by scores from
Burns and Eveler to extend the Tars lead to 13-1 with 26:05 left to
play.

Block would add to the lead at the 22:40 mark before goals by
Eveler (17:01), Stufano (13:20), Burns (6:31) and then Stufano
again (5:13) sealed the game in a final score of 18-1.
The 17-goal margin was the most lopsided victory for Rollins
since March 28th , 2012 when they beat Saint Leo, 20-2,
on the road.
The Tars will now return home, hosting Lindenwood on Wednesday,
