KANSAS CITY, Kan. (October 21, 2014) - After
another perfect week, where the Tars went 2-0, Rollins jumped two
spots in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II National Poll,
it was announced on Tuesday. The Tars also sit at No. 2 in the
South Region.
As of Tuesday, the Tars first in the country in assists per game
(4.00/game), second in scoring offense (3.62 goals/match), points
per game (11.23/game), and total assists (52) and are third in
Division II in total points (146).
Minnesota State-Mankato (14-0-0) remains at No. 1 this week
while Rollins' in-conference rival, Barry (9-1-1), leaps five spots
this week to No. 2. College of Saint Rose (11-1-1) moves to No. 3
from No. 5 with North Georgia (12-1-0) behind them at No. 4, up six
spots from No. 10 this week. East Stroudsburg (12-1-0) moves up a
spot this week to round out the top-five.
Joining Rollins and Barry in the polls from the SSC are Saint
Leo (9-4-0) at No. 19 and Tampa (10-2-2) at No. 25.
The Tars will be back in action on Tuesday at home against
Flagler for senior day. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Fans that can't
