Mollie Jones posted a season-best time for the Tars at the Disney
Classic presented by New Balance Saturday morning at Disney's Wide
World of Sports. The senior finished 23rd in the field
of more than 250 runners, stopping the clock with a time of
29:23.
Marta Lazowic was the second Tar home with a time of 23:01
(142nd) while Sarah Steiger finished 190th at
25:02. Elizabeth Patz checked in at 28:57, good for
221st.
Jack Williams paced the men's team with a 77th place
finish and a time of 29:23. Austin Meehan stopped the clock at
32:17 and was 123rd , while Keegan Casella finished in
150th with a mark of 34:40.
The Tars will be back in action Saturday, Nov. 8 to compete in
the Sunshine State Conference Championship in Dover, Fla.
