GRAND LAKE, Co. (April 2, 2013) - Rollins
remains at No. 4 in the latest IWLCA DII poll after a week of
inactivity, it was announced on Tuesday. The same 15 schools stayed
in the rankings with the top six teams unchanged.
LIU-Post claims the top spot in the polls for a sixth week in a
row after a 7-0 start, collecting 12 of 15 first place votes. Last
year's NCAA national runner-up West Chester grabbed the remaining
three first place votes to remain at No. 2 for a fifth consecutive
week.
Third-ranked Limestone (10-1) is the highest ranked team in the
Conference Carolinas coming in at No. 3. Fouth-ranked Rollins (7-1)
holds a four vote margin over No. 5 Adelphi (9-0).
Pfeiffer (12-0), LeMoyne (4-2), Lock Haven (5-1), Stonehill
(6-3), and Dowling (6-2) round out the rest of the top-10.
The Tars take on eleventh-ranked Florida Southern Wednesday,
Apr. 3 in Lakeland at 7 p.m in a top-15 matchup.
