CHARLOTTE, N.C. - (April 28, 2013) - Down just
one at the half, Rollins couldn't keep pace in the second, falling
to Mars Hill 10-5, Sunday in the season finale.
The Tars' season ends at 3-14 while Lions close their year at
11-3.

Ricci led Rollins with four goals while Riley
Robinson tallied the other Tars goal. Jack
Kelly earned two assists with Morgan
Baker and Sean
Hall each earning one helper.

Sheerin took the loss, racking up 16 saves in 57 minutes. Hunt
Bartram played the other three minutes with one save.
Jimmy McBride led Mars Hill with four goals while Will Scott put
up three to go along with two assists. Anthony Malcolm earned four
assists.
The Lions jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead before Ricci's first
score got Rollins on the board to end the first. MHC led 4-1 early
in the second, but Robinson fired a goal from a Kelly pass to make
it 4-2. After another Lions score, Ricci twice found the back of
the net to close the first half, closing Rollins deficit to 5-4 at
the break.
Both offenses were stuck in neutral in the third quarter with
the Lions scoring the lone goal. In the fourth, Mars Hill scored
three straight to put the Tars down 9-4 with seven minutes to
play.
Ricci got his fourth goal with four minutes to play to make it a
9-5 count but the Lions got a late goal to make the final score
10-5.
