BOCA RATON, Fla. (April 18, 2013) -
The sixth ranked Tars blew past Florida Southern in Thursday's
SSC tournament quarterfinal, needing just six matches to clinch the
5-1 victory.
Rollins, who is serving as the four seed in the tournament,
jumped out to an early one-point advantage after doubles, taking
both the No. 1 and No. 3 matches.

Kwok and Jason
Alabaster defeated Emanuel Lueber and Benoit Paradis,
8-4
in the No. 1 spot while Adrian Di
Felice and Cooper
Maxwell (RC) downed Jorge Gutierrez and Charles Garneau, 8-4,
in the No. 3 slot.
In singles, Maxwell gave the Tars a 3-1 lead, winning the No. 6
match 6-1, 6-1 over Garneau before #34 Robin
Marchione improved to 14-4 overall in singles with a 6-1, 6-3
win over Carl Lundberg at No. 3.
Sebastian
Hafner finished it off, defeating Vladimir Barabash , 6-2, 6-1,
in the No. 4 spot to propel Rollins into Friday's semifinal where
the Tars will take on No. 1 seed, Barry. Play is set to begin at
11:30 a.m.
