Rollins completes its home season and will look to win in Warden
Arena for the first time since Jan. 19, hosting Barry Wednesday
night. The Tars can finish the regular season strong and take a
shot at the second seed in the upcoming Sunshine State Conference
Tournament. Rollins is also looking to solidify its spot in the
NCAA Tournament, checking in at No. 5 the first ranking. Barry
travels to Winter Park after winning three of its last four, two of
which came on the road. Fans can watch to all the action live on

All ticket and concession proceeds of today's game will be
donated to the Cesar Odio Leukemia Foundation. The Bucs head coach
was diagnosed with Leukemia prior to the start of the season and is
currently on a leave of absence. The Tars are rooting for a
complete recovery.
ROLLINS AT A GLANCE: The Tars (17-7, 9-5 SSC)
have struggled in home conference games, posting a record of 3-4
and coming off a loss to Sunshine State Conference champion Saint
Leo on Saturday. Rollins again fell into a big hole to start and
were never able to climb out, ending up on the wrong side of a
76-60 score. Scott Schuette led the Tars with a career-high 17
points off the bench.
Kyle McClanahan tops the Tars box score on the season, ranking
eighth in the conference with 14.7 points per game. He is third in
the SSC with 4.6 assists a game while shooting a conference
second-best 56 percent from the field. Dave Diakite is
14th in the SSC, netting 13 a night, and sits seventh
with 6.5 boards a game. Adam Allen emerged as one of the top
3-point shooters in the SSC and averages 10.4 a game.
The Tars are fourth in the SSC with 71.2 points of offense a
night while coming in second in defense, surrendering only 65.3 a
game.
BARRY AT A GLANCE: The Buccaneers (12-12, 5-9
SSC) weathered a three-game skid to begin the month and have since
won three of its last four. Barry's last outing was a 63-54 victory
at Tampa on Saturday. Magne Fivlestad led the way with 13 points
while Damien Dwaine hauled in seven rebounds.
Justin McCoy leads the way for the Bucs with 14.4 points a
night. Fivelstad is netting 10.7 a game while Philip Toric gathers
a SSC second-best 7.1 rebounds a night.
Barry ranks eight in the conference with 60.5 points a game,
while they allow a SSC seventh-best 70.1 night.
LAST MEETING: JAN. 23 - Rollins 72, Barry 55 -
Rollins started the second half on a 27-2 run to overcome an early
deficit and beat Barry 72-55 in the first match-up. Adam Allen
continued his hot streak and poured in 14 points to lead Rollins.
Mitch Woods filled the stat sheet with 12 points, six rebounds,
eight assists and a steal. Jeff Dirkin also netted 12 while Kyle
McClanahan chipped in 10 points, five assists and four steals.
Justin McCoy led Barry and all scorers with 21 points behind a
12-of-13 night from the free throw line. Aaron Martin scored 14 in
the first half and ended the night with 16 for the Bucs.
THE SERIES: Rollins owns the all-time series
against Barry 44-16 and has won the last nine in a row. The Bucs
last won in Winter Park on January 16, 2010.
THE COACHES: Rollins leader Tom Klusman
(Rollins '76) is in his 33rd year at the helm of the program and
carries a career record of 607-337. He is one of five active
coaches in Division II with 600 career wins and is just the 15th
all-time to reach the milestone. Orlando Gonzales (Miami '01) is
the Bucs acting head coach this season as veteran Cesar Odio takes
a leave of absence. Gonzales is 28-30 in now his third year leading
Barry.
