WINTER PARK, Fla. (March 5, 2012) - For her
efforts in a week where the Tars went 5-1, including a win of No. 1
ranked Alabama-Huntsville, Rollins center fielder Monica Meadows was named SSC Player of the Week.
Meadows batted .450 with eight runs and six RBI in six games.
She hit safely in five games and tallied multiple hits in three
contests.
The senior from Daphne, Alabama also posted a 1.050 slugging
percentage, notching two doubles, two triples, and two home runs,
hitting at least one extra-base shot in five of six games. She
concluded the week with a .500 OBP and was flawless in the
field.
