TAMPA, Fla. (October 20, 2012) - The Rollins volleyball team dropped a 3-0 (24-26, 21-25, 20-25) decision to the No. 22 West Florida Argos to conclude the 2012 Red Elephant Café South Region Crossover hosted by the University of Tampa.

Camille Indest led all scorers with 13 kills, to go along with three digs and one block. Megan Hodges added 11 kills with five digs and three blocks.

April Jackson chipped in with 19 assists while MaryEllen Pole tallied 13. Defensively, Christina Carracino registered 18 digs.

In the opening frame, Rollins went point-for-point with the 22nd-ranked Argos as a kill from Megan Hodges tied the score at 24-all. The Tars were unable to build on the momentum and handed West Florida set point on a serving error. An attack error by the Tars handed UWF the 26-24 win.

Rollins was unable to keep up with the fast-paced Argos in the second set as they fell behind early on. West Florida posted a 25-21 win.

In the third set, the Tars managed to make a small comeback to tie the score at 14-all on another Hodges kill. A kill from West Florida's Jenny Bellairs gave way for the Argos to extend their lead and take a 25-20 win.

Autumn Duyn led the No. 22 Argos with 13 kills while Colleen Starrs posted 19 digs.

The Tars will be back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 23 in their final non-conference match of the season as they host Armstrong Atlantic. Tuesday's match will also mark the Tars' Dig Pink match in support of breast cancer. Match time is set for 6 p.m.
