WINTER PARK, Fla. (October 13, 2012) - Riding
the momentum of a electrifying non-conference win last Wednesday
over Tampa, Rollins dominated Saint Leo Saturday evening, 4-0.
The Tars opened the scoring in the 18th minute off a
well executed set piece. Skyler Russell lined up to serve in the
corner kick and found Alex Bisbee who headed it in far post. It was
Bisbee's third on the season.
Coming out of the half, Rollins added to the deficit in the
51st minute when Evan Greenbaum collected a rebound and buried it for
his fourth of the season.
A pair of freshman, Grant Blackhurst and Tucker Hume, each added goals in the 72nd
and 87th minutes respectively to put it out of reach.
Blackhurst snuck one inside the post and Hume added his third,
heading in a perfect service from Jordan Cole.
Keneil Baker recorded the shutout, the sixth of
the year for Rollins, and made seven saves.
The Tars will be back in action Wednesday, Oct. 17th
when they travel to Eckerd. Fans can follow along with all the
action live on the Tars sports network at RollinsSports.com.
