WINTER PARK, Fla. (August 23, 2011) - Coming
off the best season in program history, the second-ranked Rollins
men's soccer team prepares for an encore performance with a pair of
exhibition matches to start 2011.
Rollins travels to Jacksonville on Tuesday, Aug. 23 for an
exhibition with Division I North Florida, before hosting Warner
University on Friday, Aug. 26 at 5 p.m.
Veteran head coach Dr. Keith Buckley graduated one of the most
decorated players in program history in Thomas Biddinger, but
returns a cast of talented players with big-game experience.
All-America selection Jack Clifford returns to anchor the backline
and, along with fellow senior Matt Bauchle and goalkeeper Keneil
Baker, the Tars won't miss a beat defensively.
Senior Nick Sowers headlines the Tars' scoring attack, which
will be bolstered by forwards Alex Bisbee and Joe Crowley. Senior
Ryan Malenknia also serves as a scoring threat from the Tars'
midfield.
