MIAMI SHORES, Fla. (April 2, 2011) - The
ninth-ranked Rollins women's tennis team couldn't come up with the
big upset Saturday, falling to fourth-ranked Barry 8-1.
Margaret Junker scored the Tars' lone point, as the
17th-ranked senior defeated 33-ranked Angie Werschel in
the No. 2 singles match 7-5, 3-6, 10-5.
Rollins falls to 14-5 overall and 5-2 in Sunshine State
Conference play while the Bucs stay perfect at 16-0, 6-0 SSC
Rollins returns to the courts Sunday, April 3 at Nova
Southeastern.
